Close-Reading

[Derek Hough has an authoritative, compassionate way of dancing] that shows a certain [passion of many dancers around the world.] During his dance, he shows great leadership but still showing his sarcastic side.  He is not apprehensive in demonstrating his enthusiastic side as he is dancing. While dancing with his partner, Derek uses the complete dance floor; he does not only stay in a one definite area. Both Derek and his partner show that they are confident in how well they are presenting their routine. Not only are they confident, but they show great pride in their work, and want to formally present it. As they dance, it is a pleasant view to see. Each move they make flows together nicely, every step they take is precise, knowing that one mistake can jeopardize their dance. When Derek dances, he does not show arrogance, he simply dances for his partner and himself.
