So Far, So Good.

As I continue to read, Never Let Me Go, it's harder to stop reading. The way it keeps me wondering, makes me want to continue on with the book. For the most part, I am very much enjoying this book. The downside is that it skips around a lot. Kathy, the one telling about her life in Hailsham, goes from one story to the next. At one point in time she is talking about her and Tommy, and then begins talking about Ruth. Each chapter in the book tells a different and separate story about her life and friends at Hailsham. After she tells her life stories, she is back in present time looking back on how life was. There are still some parts of the book I am trying to figure out, so not everything is clear to me at the moment. Besides that, the teachers always mention to the students that they are special, like they serve a purpose being at Hailsham. As I read, it's actually heart breaking knowing that I know what's going to happen to them, but they do not. As little children at the time, they are innocent, and believe what people tell them. But they do not know the actual reason why they are special, and what donations they are going to be giving.

Until the next post, this book is so far, so good.
