Guitar...My Only Hobby

 I was just thinking about something and decided to blog about it. Well, about one and a half years ago I started playing acoustic guitar. Yeah, when people find out that I play guitar, they always tell me they would have never guessed that. Well, I do. And I love it. But I have not played it for about a month, and I miss it. I never have the time to practice because all my school work. Sometimes I feel guilty for not taking the time to sit and play my guitar. I mean when I first got it, that was the one thing I was looking forward to doing every day. Every night, I see my guitar in the corner of my room, lonely on the stand. Never been strummed for about a month. That is definitely going to change. I guess that I sometimes decide not to practice guitar. I see all these people on YouTube that play like professionals. Seeing them makes me wish I could play that well. I'm in the middle. I'm getting better, and one day I will become like them. I hope. :) My parents still love listening to me play guitar, even if I am not way up there on awesome guitar skills. I should actually be giving myself a pat on the back because I taught myself how to play guitar. I should be proud. I learned all the chords on my own and how to come up with a certain strumming pattern for a song. Yeah, I got angry and frustrated while learning, but I got there. And I am going to continue.
